Fixed Fee plan

Fixed fee plan

A no-escalation lump sum fixed-fee is agreed upon before the project is taken up

  • Under this model, on a review of the specifications and data, a no-escalation, fixed price for the project is provided to client.
  • The client would then review and approve the price before the project is taken up for execution.
  • Suitable for jobs where all project inputs, specifications and requirements are available readily for estimating effort.

Advantages :

  • Reduces risk : A known, fixed price commitment

Dis-Advantages :

  • Not suitable for work requiring very quick turn-round : The input- quote-approval cycle may require a couple of days or more.
  • Adequate design information may not always be available upfront for estimation and quote.
  • In-process design changes are difficult to accommodate.

Specifications

  • Most suitable for jobs where all inputs, including requirements and specifications, are available upfront for review and effort estimation.is agreed upon before the project is taken up.
  • Suitable job types such as preparation of Construction Documents from final Design Development set, preparing drawings/models from hand sketches / existing paper drawings etc.
  • Variations may include fixed fee for certain project types e.g. prototypical retail outlets, standardized homes etc.
Time & Material Plan

Time & Material plan

The project is taken up based on an agreed hourly rate. Time logs are submitted for client’s review.

  • Suitable for jobs where all inputs are not available before start of project for estimating a fixed lump sum price.
  • In these cases only an hourly rate is agreed upon before start of project.
  • Work is then carried out based on inputs received from client in a phased manner. Detailed time logs are prepared and sent to clients at mutually agreed time intervals for review and approval.
  • Invoices are prepared based on approved time logs.

Advantages :

  • Suitable for projects where some flexibility is required : All requirements and specifications need not be frozen upfront.
  • Reduced turnaround :Work can be taken up immediately.

Dis-Advantages :

  • Final price not precisely known at start.

Specifications

  • Most suitable for jobs with short turnarounds and/or during design development stages of projects when design is not completely frozen , and iterative changes are expected, and our team needs to work in sync with client’s design team as the design is being developed
Exclusive Studio Plan

Exclusive Studio plan

An exclusive team on retainer is set up and dedicated to the client’s projects, which acts as their own studio within our facility

  • Client can book a team of specific individuals (minimum 3 members) for any convenient period (starting at a minimum of 6 months). For that time, the team is reserved for client’s exclusive use.
  • The dedicated team quickly becomes very familiar with client’s in-house standards and practices, leading to high productivity, efficiency and quicker turn-around.

Advantages :

  • Guaranteed resources :Work is assured of immediate attention.
  • Opportunity to achieve high level of coordination between client and our project teams.
  • Highly flexible.
  • Significant gains possible in know-how and efficiency : Suitable for higher-end work
  • Likely to be the most cost effective option in the long run

Dis-Advantages :

  • Requires a minimum level of stable business to be viable for the client.

  • Usually relevant only after a relationship has been established through any other pricing model (Fixed Fee, T&M).
